As a Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, Small Business, J&F Alliance Group has overcome the many challenges facing small tech companies by aligning their mission objectives with simplistic and practical solutions.
J&F’s efforts have not gone unnoticed as the U.S. Department of Commerce, Minority Business Development Agency, awarded J&F the 2017 Minority Technology Firm of the Year Award. According to MBDA, “This award pays tribute to a minority-owned firm that has achieved outstanding success in promoting the use of technology in new and innovative ways, leading to greater efficiency and higher productivity.”
Upon hearing that J&F received the award, Falana Dula-King, CEO, stated, “We are truly honored to receive this momentous award as it reaffirms our mission and purpose. MBDA is a vital organization that has strengthened small business minorities throughout America for over 48 years. We are proud to be a part of that history. We would like to thank all our hard-working staff, partners, clients, and local communities for supporting our mission and keeping us moving forward. We would not be where we are today without you all, so this award is just as much an award for your contributions as it is ours.”
MBDA will be officially awarding National MED Week winners at the National Minority Supplier Development Council Annual Conference on October 22-25 in Detroit, Michigan. J&F will be in attendance to receive their award and will also be providing a demonstration of their technology solutions at the event. “We look forward to attending this event. It’s a great opportunity to meet businesses and demonstrate our growing portfolio of AR, VR, and MR solutions,” stated JarMarcus King, COO.
